Jumping in with Both Feet

Hello!  O.k. o.k., now I know I told you all that I was a stamp buying freeze BUT I have had my eyes on the Doodle Garden series by MFT ever since they debuted, and when the company announced that many of them were being retired, WELL, how could I resist?  These sweet images were marked down to $4.00, so I bought all my favs and you will be seeing lots of Doodle Garden cards in the coming weeks and months.

First off is my own creation using the MFT Sketch MFTWSC127.  The pretty floral designer paper is by Jillian Bean, and the rest of the colors are white, soft sky, and barely banana.
I used some pre-made felt flowers and dew drops for embellishment, and then I stitched around the card.
My second creation I actually cased from this beautiful card HERE.  I loved the design so much, it is almost an exact case, the only thing I changed was the stamped background, and I added dimension by popping up the main image twice:  once the entire body, and second just the tube on top of her head.  I also used dew drops instead of sequins.

Isn't she just the sweetest?  She always brings a smile to my face every time I see her.  I love the fun sentiments in this set too.  A pretty good bargain for $4.00.

Have a great day!  Amy
