Today, I bring you a LEGO castle by Eklund. It’s not the biggest LEGO castle I’ve seen, but it is a fantastic build.
LEGO Castle
The first thing that caught my eye was the LEGO textures of the castle walls achieved by using a mix of new and old gray. It gives it the perfect aged, mottled look.
I like the size of this LEGO castle creation as well. It’s not too big, and not too small. It can be displayed easily, yet is formidable looking to repel a good-sized enemy host. I think the landscaping is very well done as well.
I really like all the fun details included:
- Ninja scaling the wall
- Guy floating down the river in a barrel
- Guy napping under a tree
- The cave under the castle
- The mushrooms growing around the wall
These things really bring this LEGO castle to life for me.
Construction wise, I love all the angled walls. This kind of layout really takes some planning and execution. Very well done.
And I have to say, that is probably the sweetest LEGO ballista I have ever seen. Just perfect.
What makes a LEGO castle good for you?
