PMAnti-acne® 9997
PMAnti-acne® 9997 is the result of Plamed’s original supramolecular capture technology to extract three botanicals, namely, magnolia officinalis bark extract, pueraria lobata root extract and glycyrrhizinic acid. It is a natural ingredient with anti-bacterial, anti-inflammatory and oil-control effects in the whole chain of acne treatment.
- Anti-bacterial
The antibacterial effect of sample PMAnti-acne® 9997 was tested according to WS/T650-2019 Antimicrobial and Bacteriostatic Effect Evaluation Method 5.1.2 Carrier Immersion Quantitative Bacteriostatic Test, and the results are as follows:
It was tested that 1% and 2% concentration of the sample PMAnti-acne® 9997, with an action time of 30min, and the test was repeated for 3 times, the inhibition rate of Propionibacterium acnes was >99.9%, which has a strong antibacterial effect.
- Oil control
The 5α-reductase activity was tested to evaluate whether PMAnti-acne® 9997 can effectively relieve the sebaceous glands from over-producing oil, and the test results are as follows:
Test results showed that 0.5%, 1% and 2% of PMAnti-acne® 9997 inhibited 5α-reductase by 90.12%, 93.21% and 97.53%, respectively, indicating that PMAnti-acne® 9997 has oil-controlling effects.
- Anti-inflammatory
The main objective of this experiment was to evaluate whether PMAnti-acne® 9997 has certain soothing efficacy based on the changes in the content of pro-inflammatory factors (IL-1β, IL-6, TNF-α) and inflammatory mediators (PGE2) detected by LPS-stimulated macrophages Raw264.7.
Sample PMAnti-acne® 9997 at a concentration of 0.003125% (m/v) inhibited the content of pro-inflammatory factors (IL-1β, IL-6, TNF-α) and inflammatory mediators (PGE2) by 86.80%, 90.67%, 57.21%, and 91.62%, respectively, which indicates that the sample has anti-inflammatory and soothing effects.
- Human acne efficacy
A portion of subjects who met the criteria were recruited to use the test product (containing 1% PMAnti-acne® 9997 Basic Formula Milk) for a certain period of time, and the acne efficacy of the cosmetic product was evaluated by instrumental testing and visual assessment methods, and the results are as follows:
The test results showed that after using the product for 8h, 24h and 32h, the number of pimples and the volume of pimples in the test sample area of the subjects were significantly different from the base values, which proved that the sample PMAnti-acne® 9997 has the efficacy of eliminating pimples.

Feedback from Malaysia customers: “I received feedback indicating that when a pimple first appears, applying the acne cream twice a day results in a noticeable reduction in size by the next day. For inflamed pimples, applying the cream once alleviates the pain. Additionally, a colleague tested the acne cream on pimples on his head, and observed a reduction in size by the following day.”
