The enchanting 2025 Jiangyan Spring Festival Lantern Show is set to light up the city from Jan 22 and continue through Feb 16.

According to the 2024 Taizhou Government Work Report, the city's GDP is projected to surpass 700 billion yuan ($95.48 billion).

​Jiangyan district's Jiangduo town emerged as a beacon of agricultural innovation and economic development in 2024, thanks to its thriving strawberry industry. The town has successfully turned its 1,600-mu (106.67 hectares) strawberry farming base into a driving force for rural vitalization.

The annual winter fishing festival at Qinhu Lake, Jiangyan district, Taizhou, Jiangsu, commenced with great fanfare on Jan 11.

On Jan 1, Jiangyan district hosted a New Year's running event, attracting over 1,000 running enthusiasts residing in the zone.

​In the first three quarters of 2024, the gross regional product of Jiangyan district reached 67.33 billion yuan ($9.23 billion), a 5.7-percent year-on-year increase.

​This year, Jiangyan has been concentrating on developing new quality productive forces, promoting the deep integration of innovation, industrial, capital, and talent chains.

​The agritourism project by Taizhou's Qinhu Oasis Tourism Investment Co, based in Jiangyan district, has been honored as an outstanding village development case by the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce.
