Hello Doodlebug friends! I'm so excited to share a closer look at the inside pages of my winter-themed mini album today! If you've been following along, you know this project has been such a joy to create, and I can't wait for you to see the first four pages I designed. In case you missed it, I already shared the details about the cover - be sure to check out this post to catch up. For my album, I am using the adorable "Snow Much Fun" collection and the beautiful Blue Jean 6x8 Mini Album. Let's dive into the details and explore all the frosty fun details!

The first page of my mini album sets the tone for all the frosty fun inside! I started with one of the chipboard dividers that come inside the album. For the first page, it would be the perfect spot for a fun group photo to start the album off right. The cute "snow happy together " title from the Chit Chat die cuts makes such a statement! I love the pretty Limeade paper paired with the plaid on the Ice Crystal paper on this page. I layered an adorable tag from the Freeze tag paper to the left of the photo mat and tied some pretty ribbon and twine from my stash on the top. For the Photo spot, I added a beautiful snowflake label from the This and That Sticker Sheet that brings in just the right wintery charm. And don't miss the cute detail on the chipboard tab! I covered it with a purple and white polka dot tab from the Bits and Pieces for a fun pop of color and a playful way to transition to page two.

The back of page 1 is all about interactive fun! One of the great things about the chipboard dividers is the freedom they give you to create unique elements, and for this page, I designed a pretty pocket feature. This pocket not only adds visual interest but also holds a few photos too!

The first photo you'll see is styled like a Polaroid, backed with the beautiful Snow Day purple polka dot paper. You'll also see a few die cuts peeking out for some extra charm. Inside the pocket, there is a space for two more photos, making it a great way to hold more memories. And how sweet is that "heartwarming" label from the Bits and Pieces die cuts? It's the perfect tab to pull out this interactive element.

For page two we're turning to one of the 6x8 page protectors included in the mini album to create a cozy cocoa-inspired layout! I started with the adorable Lilac Swiss Dot paper from the Petite Prints that coordinates with the collection as my base paper. The soft playful background sets the stage for all the details on the front of this page. The theme here is hot cocoa, and it couldn't be sweeter! The "Bring on the hot cocoa" banner from the Chit Chat is the perfect centerpiece paired with the cocoa cart, sign and mug die cuts from the Odds and Ends. I love the pop of bright blue along the bottom of the page cut from the Wintery Woods pattern paper.

The back side of page 2 continues the cozy winter vibes, this time using the dark purple dot side of the Lilac Swiss Dot paper as the base. This rich, bold color really shines! I kept the focus on one large photo in the center, surrounded by a few carefully chosen die cuts, and stickers. The "Winter Wonderland" banner die cut along the bottom edge adds the perfect finishing touch, tying everything together beautifully.

For page three, I used one of the divided page protectors to create a versatile and visually appealing layout. This page protector features two spaces for photos or memorabilia, giving you plenty of room to showcase your winter memories. I continued with the pretty mint and purple theme, which ties in beautifully with the previous page on the left,  creating a cohesive flow throughout the album. To bring this layout to life, I incorporated more die cuts and stickers, all carefully layered to add depth and dimension. The Happy Wintertime banner is a standout element, typing everything together perfectly. With its cheerful vibe and ample space for photos, this layout is a wonderful way to highlight your favorite winter moments!

The back of page three keeps the charm going with a simple yet delightful layout that uses the reverse side of the pattern papers from the front pockets. I like using the reverse side because it stretches my product even more! The pretty stripes and adorable snowmen really shine here! I leaned into the snowman theme for this page, layering stickers and die cuts to bring extra personality and fun. And how cute is the little snowman friend sitting on one of our mini Swimming Pool Doilies? It's the perfect pop of texture and adds a whimsical touch to the layout. This page is such a fun addition to the album and I love how these turned out!

I am always looking for innovative ways to spruce up the pages of my mini-albums and my fourth page is no exception! I used one of the colored inserts as my base - isn't that blue so bright and cheerful? I love how this page turned out! To give it a bit of a custom touch, I added a curve to the edge of the right side by tracing a plate and trimming it down. To make it even more fun and wintery, I added some white pom-pom trim along the edge.  The texture it brings is so playful and it perfectly compliments the snowy theme! For the layout, I kept it simple with one photo spot, making this a great place for that one special photo you just love. To spruce things up I added a few die cuts from the collection, and I have to say, the Yeti taking a selfie with his friends just might be my favorite die cut of the whole collection. It's so cute and brings such a whimsical touch to this page!

The back of this page continues the clean and simple design while adding a touch of charm. I love using the long journal spots from the Cold Streak cut-apart paper- they're perfect for adding a meaningful story or memory to your album. To tie in with the front, I included another Yeti friend. You'll also spot another doily here, but this time is a regular-sized Swimming Pool doily on the left-hand side. It beautifully frames the "Let it Snow" label from the Chit Chat.

Here is a quick little walkthrough video of these pages!

Thank you so much for stopping by and taking a closer look at the inside pages of my album. I hope you enjoyed seeing how the Snow Much Fun collection and the Blue Jean Mini Album came together to create these frosty and whimsical designs.  It's been such a joy to share these pages with you and there is so much more to come! Be sure to stay tuned throughout February as I continue to share more album spreads, full of creative details and inspiration. I can't wait to show you what's next! Take care friends - and we will see you next time! Happy Crafting!

Hello friends! Today,  I'm thrilled to share the cover of my 6x8 mini album using the Blue Jean album and the whimsical "Snow Much Fun" collection. Living here in Utah, where we truly have "the greatest snow on Earth," this project holds a special place in my heart. I'm so excited to use this album over the next two months to document the magical winter memories I've experienced. By the end, I hope to have a completed album full of inspiration for you to create your own winter-themed projects.

For the cover, I wanted to capture the cozy charm of a snow-covered home in winter. Here's how I put it all together:

To craft this adorable house design, I used a few pieces from the Home Sweet Home Chipboard album that I had lying on my shelf. I traced the cover pieces onto cardstock and pattern papers coordinating with the Snow Much Fun collection. I also turned to the Home Sweet Home Doodle Cuts die that coordinates with the chipboard album to add details to my house like the scallop edge on the roof, the windows, the snow bunches on top of the windows, and the door. They all came together so quickly with the use of this die! I loved using some of our Glitter cardstock for that snowy sparkle and shine as well. The beautiful snowflakes on the "Snow Happy Together" pattern paper I used for the background look so good when paired with the deep blue color of the Blue Jean album.

To bring the house to life I added a few die-cuts from the collection. A cute little bird and tree are from the Odds and Ends and my project would not be complete without a Doodlepop! This sweet little "Frosty Fox" ties in the pretty grays in the collection so well! The heart on the door for a knob is also found on the "Frosty Fox "Doodlepop.

My love of all things ribbon and twine all got highlighted here as well as you can see- I have various ribbons tied to the album as well as some Blue Jean Chunky Twine that ties my tag to the album. The tag is from the Bits and Pieces ephemera. The tag is decorated with the "Snow Place Like Home" sentiment from the Chit Chat and a few pretty green gems from the Mini Jewels. Notice how the house I did for my cover is the same color scheme as the one on this sentiment? This was done purposefully to create continuity in my project. The sentiment was actually my inspiration for the whole album as I truly think my home here in Utah - there is  "snow place" like it!

The cover of any project is the theme setter, and I couldn't be happier with how this one turned out! It's the perfect starting point for what's to come inside the album.  I hope it has you as excited as I am to see how the inside pages take shape over the next coming months. Stay tuned as I fill this album with fun pages. I really hope it inspires you to create your own albums, capturing memories that warm your heart through the coldest days! Thanks for stopping by today and Happy Crafting!

The holiday season is here, and there is nothing more heartfelt than giving a handmade card or tag to accompany your gifts! Using the cheerful and whimsical Tinsel Town collection, I created a delightful assortment of holiday-themed cards and tags perfect for spreading joy!

Let's get a closer look at them!

I used a wide variety of all of the adorable pattern papers and embellishments to create my cards as well as the Petite Prints that coordinate with this collection! Aren't the colors so lovely? I love adding lots of bling to my cards for interest and the beautiful jewels found on the Holly Mini Jewels shine so pretty here!

My pattern papers came from the 6x6 Paper Pad and were the perfect scale for this fun tag featuring the big man himself!  I love addition of the lovely silver to this line!

Ribbon and twine are a favorite of mine so I added some pink tulle to the top of this sweet wreath die cut from the Bits and Pieces. Pretty pops of pink are so stunning on this card!

Do you even make a Doodlebug project if you don't add a Doodlepop or two? I love this sweet little deer found on the "So Endeering" Doodlepop. This sweet tag also features a sentiment tag from the Chit Chat die cuts.

I have fallen in love with square-shaped cards as of late and this fun card with all of the cute ornaments from the Odds and Ends was a really fun card to put together. Each ornament is decorated with various Sprinkle Shapes from the collection.

This candy cane from the Odds and Ends makes the perfect focal point for this pretty tag. I mounted a tag from the  Bits and Pieces onto a larger tag for some interest and then added my embellishments.

The cut-apart 4x4 cards on the Happy Holly Days pattern paper make for great cards! Take this wintery whimsical scene - so fun then you layer on some snowflake die cuts, and a border sticker from the This and That Sticker Sheet - they sure add a fun touch to this card.

In the Chit Chat die cuts there are the cutest postage stamp die cuts that I added as the sentiment to this tag. This tag is actually my favorite because I love the colors and that stunning floral paper is so gorgeous with this grouping of embellishments. Did I also mention I ADORE the bottle brush trees in this collection - absolutely the cutest!!

My last card features a little Christmas Scene with the fireplace, tree, and presents - classic Christmas colors are represented here and a few more shape sprinkles add festive touches.

So that's the project for today! From the playful icons and festive patterns to vibrant colors and charming embellishments, this collection made it so much fun to craft these little works of art. Whether you are tucking them into a gift bag or paring them with a wrapped present, these handmade creations are sure to bring smiles to your loved ones this season! Have a wonderful holiday season and we will see you next time!

Hello there - I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and wish you and yours well for the upcoming new year! Sooo - now that Christmas has passed, it's the perfect time to dive into all of those festive photos and start preserving those magical memories in scrapbook layouts! For today's post, I'm sharing a fun and festive layout featuring the adorable "Tinsel Town" collection. As you can see, this cheerful collection is so bright and colorful - it was just a joy to create with!

I base my layout on a favorite photo from my recent trip to Disneyland - because what better way to relive the holiday magic than through a trip to the Happiest Place on Earth? Let's jump into all the details of this project!

I have always wanted to do a layout with a smattering of these 3D stars across it - I have a layout like this pinned to my favorite layout Pinterest board that features this type of embellishing and I knew that with these pretty colors, this would be a great collection and photo to do this embellishing!
My photo is back with layers of Textured cardstock and the pretty plaid paper on the Festive Floral paper is just the right touch for my photo with lots of colors going on. Since the photo was taken in front of the Christmas tree on Main Street, it seemed right to add a die-cut tree and lights to the layout. These are from the Odds and Ends and cute light strands are from the Bits and Pieces.  I also added a few banner strips of pattern papers and Petite Prints from the collection. The silvery mulit -colored dots that I used for my background is the Snow Bright paper and it's perfect!
The "Merry and Bright" title is from the Chit Chat die cuts and I loved how it perfectly summed up my photo of me with my mom and girls - such a fun memory with them!
For my stars, I used a metal die and then used some Textured cardstock and Petite Prints to make them. I scored each point and then folded on the lines to make a few of them 3D. It really adds great dimension to the layout I think. I also added some little sparkle stickers from the Puffy Stickers, and some of the Sprinkles on some of the centers. For some added sparkle and shine - I used some Stickles glitter glue to accentuate some of the stars.

For my journaling on this layout, I decided to add some hidden journaling tucked behind my photo. I used one of the tags from the Bits and Pieces Ephemera and typed up my journaling and added it to the tag. I topped the tag with some Cupcake Twine and a heart die cut. More sparkle from the Stickles was added here as well. If you find yourself not having a lot of room to journal on your layouts - this technique with the hidden tag is great!

Thank you so much for stopping by the blog today! I hope this layout inspires you to pull out your favorite holiday photos, grab the Tinsel Town collection, and start creating beautiful layouts that beautifully capture your cherished memories. Scrapbooking is such a meaningful way to preserve these moments for future generations to enjoy and connect with. Wishing you all a season filled with joy, creativity, lots of color, and love - Happy Holidays and Happy Scrapping!

Happy Thanksgiving to all my American friends! Today I wanted to take a moment to reflect on gratitude. I'm so thankful for the opportunity to design for Doodlebug- a company whose products always inspire me to create with joy. It's a privilege to share my love of crafting with such an incredible community, and I hope this layout-  featuring the simply lovely Farmhouse collection,  brings a little inspiration to your day!

As I sat down to create, I was drawn to the This and That sticker sheet. This is always a good starting place for me because I look here for titles. The "begin each day with a grateful heart" was just what I was looking for. Those words felt especially meaningful as we celebrate a season of gratitude. I wanted to design a quick and simple layout that would bring this beautiful sentiment to the forefront. I built a layered cluster around this sticker with a tag, stamp, and heart die cuts from the Bits and Pieces ephemera and some stickers.

I balanced the design with a selfie photo matting it with some Coral Textured Cardstock. I added a Bon Bon Doily for some added texture in this grouping. Under my photo is a border of beautiful florals and leaves from one of the die cuts in the Bits and Pieces.

Up in the top left corner of the layout is another grouping of embellishments as well as my journaling. The pop of black in the embellishments paired well with my black-and-white photo. You can also see that I cut out one of the tags from the Buffalo Plaid patterned paper.  Here you can also see the pattern papers I used on my layout - the pretty plaid on the Country Quilt paper, the lovely mint on the Farmhouse paper, and the delicious dots on the Woodland Berries paper.

I love all the tag shapes that are found in the collection so along the left side of my layout, I chose 5 tags - 3 from the Bits and Pieces and 2 cut from the Give Thanks tag cut apart paper. I tied some Beetle Black Doodle Twine to a few of the tags to tie in the black and white colors.

As I reflect on this project, I am reminded of the importance of gratitude - not just during the holiday season, but every day. I hope this layout inspires you to celebrate the big and small moments of life with a grateful heart.
Thank you all for stopping by today - wishing you a very Happy Thanksgiving filled with love, laughter, and creativity! Take care and we will see you next time!

This first card is a burst of autumn charm, featuring bright pops of color Doodlebug is famous for! The centerpiece is a sweet fruit stand from the Odds and Ends, brimming with seasonal delights! The cute little fox watches over the stand adding more whimsy The card comes to life with dimensional details like the pumpkin and flowers from the Puffy Stickers.

This card is a delightful nod to country kitchen charm, brought to life with the Farmhouse collection's endearing icons. The star of the design is an adorable buffalo check apron, from the Odds and Ends, that adds a cozy, homespun vibe. Paired with the "I only have Pies for You" sentiment from the Chit Chat pack, this card is as sweet as can be!

This card is a heartfelt tribute to country living featuring the irresistible black and white cow from the Odds and Ends die cuts - perfect for any cow lover like me out there! Happy Halloween everyone! I'm so happy to be here with you today to share my latest project! As the holiday season approaches, and schedules get busier, finding time to craft can feel like a challenge. That's why I am loving traveler's notebook-sized layouts, especially when paired with the adorable "Hey Pumpkin" collection! This compact size is perfect for fitting in creative time without the commitment to a full 12x12 layout! I just adore this size!

Today  I have 2 layouts to show you, so let's get started!

My first layout was such a fun one to create! I made the "Trunk or Treat" die cut from the Chit Chat ephemera my focal point on the left page, immediately bringing that Halloween spirit to life!

To decorate this page a bit more, I cut rectangles from various pattern papers from the 6x6 paper pad and used them as tiny little trick-or-treat bags. I added some black twine to the top for the handles and decorated each bag with some of the Puffy Stickers for extra dimension and charm.

For the right-hand page of this layout, I used the playful Peek-a-Boo paper as my background. The black subtle pattern was the perfect background to showcase my two photos along with my journaling.  I added a few stars from the Odds and Ends ephemera, some more Puffy Stickers, and the fun "happy Halloween" speech bubble die cut from the Chit Chat die cuts.
My journaling was typed up on one of the tags from the Bits and Pieces pack. How cute is that little car filled with all my Halloween friends in it? It is from the Icon Sticker Sheet.

On my second layout, I used the bright and colorful Bubblegum Gingham/Linen Petite Print paper for my background. The vibrant color sets a fun tone for the pages, making it perfect to capture the fun memories of this Halloween Disney trip we took.

To embellish the layout, I added die cuts from the Bits and Pieces pack, along with a few Puffy Stickers. The "good times" sticker on the green label is from the This and That Sticker Sheet.
For my journaling, I knew I wanted to use one of the cut-apart journaling spots on the "Sabrina's Sock" paper. I cut one out and added my journaling as there was a bit to say about the details of this trip. I trimmed a piece of the Jolly Jack-o-Lanterns paper and made it a side pocket to tuck the journaling in. This really ties the whole layout together! And how adorable is this sweet and spooky trio of Halloween friends in the corner? Love the touch this die cut from the Bits and Pieces added to this part of the layout!
Don't the Puffy Stickers add the perfect amount of shine? I just love this little smattering decorating the top of my journaling spot!
Thank you so much for stopping by and checking out my traveler's notebook-sized layouts! I hope these pages have inspired you to give this size a try as a way to keep your memory keeping quick and enjoyable during this busy holiday season. It's a great way to document those special moments without feeling overwhelmed! Happy crafting my faboolous friends! See you next time!
